Merle, PT and GMTing Consistency

First up in my double merle boy who I did perfect consistency on but I do not think he should not have this high of a PT.
V4 Black Best Merle Shark
This is my filly who I did perfect consistency on, then removed a merle allele. She came out with a "normal" low PT for a double merle.
V4 Black Frost Neutral

Changing consistency or merle status in the GMT lab does not impact PT score. The impact only hits at birth.
You maxed the first horse which is why his PT is high. If you want a high PT on a foal that was born double merle you will need to max them.Post edited by Ammit at 2026-08-05 07:33:03Need to contact me? Read this first.
