I know layout changes can cause stress and upset to some folks so I am giving people a heads up now that this is coming.

I willing be working on an update to the pasture page in the next week or two to make it easier to use, require less scrolling, and be more mobile friendly. It will end up looking more like the barn pages but have some additional functionality. It will no longer have the images, genetic papers or pedigree information listed. To see those you will need to open the pasture in the search.

That said I will be allowing some more bulk management options to be used in the pasture.

If you have any suggestions of things you want to see on a pasture page update, or comments about things you really don't want to see feel free to post them. (Before anyone asks no I will not be keeping the old pasture page as an option.)

How would you use the era? Just for organizing the pastures?

If I can figure out how you plan to use the era information it will help me picture how it should be displayed.

I would absolutely love a AFPT testing button. Its quite the job to remove, test, and move back the mares every season :X

I would definitely use era as a way to sort mares in pastures.
I test to keep them organized that way

Not sure how era is related to testing. :)

It sounds like era in search might be enough to do what you need but I will see if it can be fit into the display.

i believe what fiddler is saying is that she can quickly find a certain mare for an outside futurity stallion by seeing the era

for me, a select all button at the bottom of the page would help alot

would it be possible to do a bulk showing for pastures? im fine with opening each page to manually show each pasture

Showing will not be coming to pastures but better selection is coming.

I love that the pasture pages will look and function more like barn pages with this update!

Would it be possible to add bulk embryo implanting on the pasture page?

No. We are thinking about ways we might be able to do bulk embryos but they are going to have to go into a queue system to force them to slow down. If we let people breed 100 foals at once it would crash the servers.

I had to take a break from this project for the June event stuff but I am back too it.

I am considering removing the automatic foal sell back feature. I think most people don't use it and it causes more headache for players then benefits. Adding in a bulk option future would replace that functionality. What do you think? Are you cool with removing auto foal sell back?

What about the automatic breeding part? Does it make more sense to always have to push the button to create foals in the pasture? It would reduce server costs and make this update easier of that was the case.

I’ve never used the sellback feature and, although I do use the auto breeding, I’m happy to do that manually if it reduces server costs.

Would these mean I would get time after breeding season ends to sort and remove Pasture foals? The past several months, I've been struggling to get my foals sorted and out of Pasture before they sold back on the 28th.

I don't use foal sell back, so I'm indifferent to it staying or leaving! However, I do use auto breeding for some of my bootstrap pastures, but I'm happy to do it manually.

Would there be a way to get a reminder about breeding pastures? SImilar to how we would get the notification that we still have foals in our pastures?
I have bad memory and getting a pop-up or reminder of some sort would greatly help remind me that I need to use the manual button for breeding now?

When I wasn't playing much, I lost a lot of foals to the automatic sellback feature, so I have large age gaps in my show horses. I would prefer if they were not deleted and I could remove them from the pastures when I remembered. I'm also fine with manually breeding the pastures, especially since I mostly have recipient mares in there now. Thanks!

I do love the auto breeding, but would give it up for bulk testing and appearance changes. I will miss seeing the foal pics, but won't miss seeing the prettiest foal only to find that they do not pass breeding advice.
I am also a fan of not losing the foals if I have a busy month and cannot get to them in time.

Since the pastures don’t auto breed anymore ( which was always a fun surprise for me) it would be nice if there was an easy way to know which pastures had stallions in them.

The first round of updates is out.

We got this one out today to help you with your foal management, and to remove the now inaccurate warning message about pastures being "Active"

I will be taking a second pass to add a in a bunch of the features people have been requesting.

Second round is now out.

I added BTY, DIP, a bunch of mouse of tooltips and some more quality of life features.

Issues still on my list to look at is fixing the sort by button and adding info to the navigation about how many horses are in each barn/pasture.

I know this is still a work in progress, but I wanted to note that even though we can bulk auction from the pasture page, we are unable to auction from the individual horse's page.

I am super happy about the way it tells you how many horses of each type by just looking at the top of the pasture and barn pages. I sometime search for an hour or so trying to finding which pasture has foals.

It doesn't tell you how many foals are in there unless you open the pasture to manually look for them
