I have no idea what genes to select for Era 21. So, I am asking what you can use as a community.

What are you looking to breed into your Era 21 horses?

Or, your favorite RS HH for this Era?

I'm gonna stick with genes from my previous lines I think. Kit promoter with Belton/GP/TEl. As of late, I had been adding on Dfp1 and/or Dfp2. Unsure if I do so this Era. (Depends on my GMT stockpile) haha.

Looking forward to Fault Lines and Race The Sun HHs. :D

I was just thinking about that today myself!

I loved my dark Akhal Teke line, which all super dark base colors with some S+ and P+ with minimal white markings and Tiger Eye. I really enjoyed that so I’ll do it again at some point. Do I do it this time?

Do I try that line on the Crabbet BC?

If we ever get the Fjord BC like Ammit is talking about they’ll be primarily Duns, a mix of very light and very dark and everything in between with some non-duns and white patterns. Maybe some LP too

But I guess I have no idea what I’m doing yet :))

I like to stick to the same goals for each era because I eventually wind up adding them to my main line anyway, which is primarily dark base coats with a variety of non-lethal white genes that won't overpower the base coat (i.e. W8, KIT M, PW, SWM, & TO).
My preferred genes are DP, S+, P+, DFP1/2(with Dun to activate the patterns), gr w/ Gray, KP2, KIT(the above list), sa, chn, b, mu, plt, BI, and the Tobiano modifiers (i.e. TMSC, TMJB, & TMSG).
Overall, I aim for variety in both pattern and color within my lines, regardless of era.

I'm going to have platinum on two of my boys this time, which I'm very excited about. :) Otherwise, just my typical kitchen sink approach of throwing everything I like onto them.
