Ah, but you are both forgetting a level. The most self-explanatory. Showable Only for stallions, and Failed for mares. These two are the lowest levels possible, and you need to snip those horses immed…

I use yahoo and I got mine perfectly fine. I don't exactly recommend using it, because it's on and off again horrible, but just confirming that one does work too.
