Live cover vs straws on era 16 horses

    I have been rather frustrated so far in the results I am getting breeding my era 16 horses, so I did a test.

    I used 2 studs, one 9.9 foundation, and another one with a PT of 10 because I made him perfectly consistent.
    I bred each of them to 5 mares live cover and 5 with straws
    The results came in, one of each of the live cover foals passed SBA
    2 of each studs AI foals passed.
    And the majority were colts.

    The mares used were 9.9s or foundation rescue mares.

    The interesting thing was the PT scores of the AI foals were mostly over 10 and the live cover foals were below 10.
    It's possible that my samples were too small, but it's food for thought.
