Just because it's nearly the end of the breeding season.

This contest is open to players who have joined the game from the beginning of January through September. But everyone can join in on the judging. :D

Post your very favorite one of this year’s foals and tell us why it is your favorite. It could be because it hit a high PT mark, got all the special genes you are breeding for, has a very unique or beautiful or otherwise striking pattern…you get the idea--whatever it might be that makes this one foal really stand out as a breeding success.

Note: If you don’t already know: you’ll find two links at the bottom of a horse’s Info tab. Copy the LONG one and paste it into a comment in this discussion. This will insert the foal’s image and a link to it.

There will be two categories
Category A: 2nd through 4th gen foals
Category B: foals of higher generations or bootstrapped. Please indicate which category you are entering with your post. You may enter one or the other but not both.

All players are invited to cast votes for your favorites on the list using the “Thanks” button. You may vote for up to three foals. Don’t explain your reasons for the choices. You can include the breeder’s reason for selecting a foal to help you make your selections, but there’s no need or place for explanations of your votes.

The contest will be open until September 30th. Prizes will be announced on October 2.

Grand Prize for the most votes counting both categories: a young bootstrap stallion + 250,000 hbs from Sharayah Stables

Category Prizes:
1st prize: 3 high PT show horses
2nd prize: 2 high PT show horses
3rd prize: 1 high PT show horse.

Winners of the 1st through 3rd prizes in each category may also choose to select a straw from a KP stallion donated by kgstable or one from a foundation Homozygous Kit M stallion donated by SandyCreekAcres.
