Candy Horse Question

I'm a new player and purchased a peppermint candy horse because I thought she looked cute ( will insert a photo link below) .. However, I accidentally added tack and know her coat color is gone... Is this normal? Is there a way to get it back? Thank you in advance for any help :-*

Since she was already turned in for the Genetic Modification Token that is the prize for creating a candy pony, then whenever her image was refreshed, as it would be when tack was applied, she would lose her stripes.
There is no way to restore them.
It's not the same look, but if you wanted make her stripey, you could go to the tack room and apply Zebra Striping. Here it is on a Dark Chestnut Splash horse of mine.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
