Merle Breeders Club?

    Not urgent but wanted to ask: I noticed that I cannot register my merle foundation in either the open fantasy club or the silver club. (I did check to make sure I was not making a mistake - he has less than 4 breeders club entries, so it is not an issue of him being at the max already.) Is merle going to have its own club eventually, or will it be added to one of those?

    If this was already explained somewhere and I missed it, my apologies!

    Merle is not a fantasy gene so there is no reason why it would go in the fantasy club.

    Right now we are in a club freeze and no new clubs are allowed to be added due to the issues going on with GMT distribution.

    Chocolate being lumped in the Fantasy Club grouping made me wonder if merle might also land there eventually.

    Chocolate used to be a fantasy gene but is no longer. It is only listed under fantasy so as to not have to kick out all the fantasy horses already registered in it.

    It would be fun to have new clubs like for merle, but no gmt awards, unless it suddenly gets really popular I suppose and some of the other clubs go to no gmts
