Given the stats as they stand today, bluegrass is looking at merging eras 1,2 and 3 into a single club in December. There is a small chance era 4 and 5 might also merge into a single club.

All other era clubs are large enough for now.


Futurities are a mess on bluegrass and being propped up by a very small number of players.

Eras 1,4, 5,6,7,10,12,13,14 and 15 are in very bad shape
Eras 2,3,9,16 are at risk

Only eras 0, 8, 18 and 19 are healthy.

I am not sure how these would merge yet but it is clear several merges need to happen and for the total number of futurities on this server to drop.

Thank you for this update, Ammit! So far, I'm liking the stop light icons on the Breeder Club/LB pages. I have a few questions:

1. Is there a specific threshold you're using for determining the red and yellow lights for the clubs (i.e., under 15,000 registered horses for yellow or under 10,000 registered horses for red)?

2. I know you said that the color breeder clubs are not at risk for merging, but are you considering removing any of the ones in the red stop light zone at all (i.e., after a certain amount of time staying consistently in the "red zone", like 3 or 6 months, or something like that)? I'm not suggesting it - I would likely vote against that if it were proposed. But I'm wondering if that's being thought about at all.

3. For the Futurity Eras, does it make sense to merge the Futurity Era boards whenever the regular Era leaderboards are merged, or do the # of horses for the Futurity boards not correlate closely enough with the regular Era leaderboards for that to make sense? I know for Futurity, it's not a requirement for the horses to be registered in their respective Era breeder club, and also that Fantasy horses qualify for their Futurity Era leaderboard but don't qualify for their regular Era breeder club, so that likely affects the numbers between the Futurity Era leaderboards and Era breeder clubs quite a bit.
