I can't figure out if I have Nexus. I can't find it on the list of genes that shows what you own. try just one straw and i can find out that way if I can breed him.image

there is one of the horses that is ERROR Unknown anamoly that I missed noting. i want 5 straws from each of the ERROR (i did note 2 of them but can't remember which was the third) and 2 straws from everyone else. I'll see how they produce and may be coming back for more. I might not be able to pay for them all in one day, it may be more than my daily income, but shouldn't have any trouble in 2 or 3 days.
  • I think Hyldurev 6 is the other ERROR
  • Humboldt, may I have 2 straws to try out and see what he proeduces? If he pleases me I'll be back for more.
  • On the straw label, could you put generation and pt score please? when all I have is names, it's very hard to find what I want. (both of you)

He's available for some straws, 1500 each
  • Thank you, BarnRaised, but I was hoping for some higher PT scores.
  • Nexus (x on the gene test) does not need a license. However, if you are breeding for the colored axiom genes (R, B and G on the gene test), you do not want to mix the two since they do not produce the color inversion or colored nebula effect (Error Unknown Anomaly), just the stars on normal color of a heterozygous nexus or axiom horse. All of the Error Unknown Anomaly horses you posted have nexus, and the only 6th gen colored axiom stallion I have is green, which I see that you do not have. Do you still want straws from my nexus stallions? I've sent you straws from the rest that you requested. There is no rush to pick them up, buy them whenever you are ready.

The number on the end of my horse's names is their generation. I'll put their PTs in the label, but really it doesn't say anything about the stallions breeding ability, just his training ability. Often the best breeder of a group isn't the one with the highest PT. The number that you should be looking at for breeding is the average foal PT (AFPT) since that shows the quality of the foals the stallion has already produced. For instance, Yandelvin 6 with a PT of 12.3 has produced better foals with and AFPT 12.8 than Tremlurial 6 who has a PT of 12.9 but an AFPT of 12.72. For unbred stallions, the comparison test is the only way to determine relative breeding ability. All of my even lined stallions are superior to their sires.

  • If I'm understanding right, Nexus cancels (so to speak) the error unknown effect? So what do I need to have the ERROR horses looking like the do here? so far I have not bred for the Uppercase Axiom, I just have what came when I bought horses. I have Axiom Blue, REd, and wrong warp. But I've seen in some of my horses that they have an x and b and a couple others, so I don't know why they don't show up on the list of genes I have.
(I'm kinda confused about this) Perhaps just sent me 2 straws each for the Error's and I'll see how they turn out, and come to you if I want more. As for the foal's pt, as long as it is higher than his parents is all I need to know.
Would doing a gmt and removing the nexus change the way they look?

  • um, that note was to both of you
  • Axiom is one of my favorite gene groups! Nexus is the basic, non-licensed Axiom gene, but the others work in much the same manner(Red, Green, and Blue). When Heterozygous, they cover your horse in starlight spots, as you can see on this horse: image
    4G RM Wandering Galaxy

When Homozygous, they change the color of your horse as well as cover them in stars. The Red, Green, and Blue Axiom genes change your horse's color areas to the color indicated by the Axiom gene, and turn white into black. Nexus, indicated by an orange x, changes your horse's colors to their opposite(i.e. red changes to blue, cream and white change to gray and black, etc.), as you can see on these horses: https://www.huntandjump.com/adv_search.php?runsearch=go&jump=0&owner=276208&56=0&57=0&58=0&59=0&60=0&61=0&72=2
Wrong Warp is a bit different. Rather than adding stars, it turns white into black and creates a warped look on the horse's flank. Here's an example: image
    1G WW Stargazer

Any of the Axioms, when Homozygous, will change your horse's color name to ERROR: UNKNOWN ANOMALY. I'm still learning about exactly how the color changing works, especially with the color Axioms, but I think they're a lot of fun!

The horses you have with g, b, or r in their genes might be altered horses. Unless you have bought those genes, someone has bought them for you, or they have been gifted to you in the gift exchange, you won't have licenses to breed them. In that case, you can only buy horses with those genes if they are spayed or gelded.

Edit: I checked your page, and you have licenses for all of the Axioms except for Green, so that's the only one you can't breed yet.
