  • Random guess, but I think it might be the combo of nd1, brown, and classic bay.
I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!
  • Agouti genes have no effect on ee horses.

  • True. I was wondering if it was some kind of hidden reaction.

  • Ammit you really think so?! coolness guess I'll be breeding her to a liver colt when she's old enough to see if she does have DP or not

  • You can now see Dp in the GMT lab. If she has it there will be an upper case D.
Kp and gp show up as well now a rescent change
  • I wouldn't be surprised if her sire has a copy. If you want to send me some straws from him I could cross him with a hom DP and sooty liver and find out, if you like

  • She's also missing one gene for Sooty.
  • Chestnut and Nd1 can cause a bright reddish orange color.
  • I'm going to guess no on her sire, because he didn't pass on a copy of DP to any of those six foals

  • If its not on Dad's side, its definitely not on mom's side or she would be a liver... my guess would be its the ND1
