Deleting tattoo slot?

Is there a way to delete a tattoo slot?
Trying to cut down on the amount of tattoos I have and only use them for hidden genes.. -
You cannot delete them as stated on the tattoo page. The max you can do is uname it and get rid of the tattoo.
