So I keep trying to breed one of my mares but when I go to my email there is no email about it. Thanks for the help!

Is she in a pasture? Email messages are only sent when foals are born to mares in pastures, otherwise, the foal appears instantly on the page of the parent who was put up for breeding.
If she's not in a pasture but is not 4 years old yet, she can't be bred. Stallions are ready for breeding at 3, but mares aren't ready until they are 4. At least that the way it is in the game. :D

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST

Barn expansions using DTs are now permanently half the price. Also, you can now reset your horse's "Foals this Season" count to zero using a DT. To celebrate both, DTs are 10% off for the next 10 days.1/4/2026 4:34 PM EST
Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
