Medium bone horses aka the Warmblood/Sport Pony weights have new art. You can refresh a horse's image to see it. You don't have to trigger it though. Once I do the global refresh all horses will be refreshed anyways.

The hooves are funny. I have to rewrite how hooves work anyways (they will be dynamic in the future) so I am not fussing with them at the moment.

HJ2 is waiting until the hubub dies down for it's update to save server resources.

Marching to the beat of a different drummer I am going to miss the current hunter type body with a full groomed tail and pulled mane. I really like the clean crisp lines of the current medium body hunter pony artwork, the minimal jaw line, the shape of the hind leg/butt and the way the pinwheel braided tail hangs without the space. It just seems to be more realistic to me.

Don't get me wrong. I love the light riding horse and I've created lots. However the majority of my horses are the medium body and if there was a choice (and I know there won't be) to keep the current medium body or get the new artwork, I'd keep the current one. The new artwork will be like I lost all my barn help and I don't groom my horses anymore. I personally am not a fan of the tousseld mane and tail. I know there are mane and tail choices in the tack store but I barely have time as it is.

I like that there's some muscle shading to give it a 3D look instead of the sorta paper pony look, but I'm not a big fan of the new mane and tail either.

I can't wait to see a heavy body type! Then I can create some true breeding blacks and pretend they're Friesians!

There is still plans for a mass tack update option that will let you change the tack of all your horses at once. So I am really not fussed about people not caring for a natural look. My full intent was a natural look since that makes more sense for the default to be natural.

Will there ever be the pulled tail back in the store or an option to buy what the current default tail is? I think I have created more riding types and heavy types recently than the mediums... sigh.. now really waiting for the new tack options for the new body styles.. Something tells me I am going to be really broke!

Ohh this bone density thing looks very interesting, wonder how small/large we can get the lights and the heavies? This will be a new fun thing to play with

Maybe you would be willing to have the optionsame in the tack store for the medium horses to look like they used to? I LOVE the old style, I've played a lot of horse games and they were always my favorite.
