This page allows you to order a gene for any applicable horse in the game owed by any player. The owner of the horse will receive the gene license for any closed genes. You may modify the genetics of any horse that is unbred, gene tested, foundation and not a clone. To make the horse homozygous for a gene, add strand one to the cart, then return to this page to add strand two.

It is your responsibility to double check that you have selected the right horse, owned by the right player.

Skewed Appaloosa

Gene Example and Info: Skewed Appaloosa is a mutant form of appaloosa, dominate to normal appaloosa. One copy causes distortion of the normal LP marking locations. Two copies causes a complete inversion of marking location. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. Splash M

Gene Example and Info: This real-life gene (MITF^{N310S) is called Splash M in game after its casual name, Macchiato. It creates lacy splash-type markings and dilutes the base color of the horse. Appaloosa Spot Regulator 1

Gene Example and Info: This hypothetical gene regulates spot size. ASR1 overwrites other spot size factors and can produce very large spots even on horses with low pigment density. One copy will have a slight to moderate effect on spot size. Two copies will produce a significant increase in spot size. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Chocolate

Gene Example and Info: Two copies of the recessive b TYRP1 mutation turn all black pigment into chocolate brown pigment. Horse must be E/- or E/E for chocolate to show. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Phantom Jellyfish

Gene Example and Info: Phantom Jellyfish will add sparse jellyfish markings inside KIT, Splash, or Frame white areas. It requires only one copy to show, and shows best with large areas of white. Rainbow Riot Paintbrush Cool

Gene Example and Info: The paintbrush fantasy genes will paint a horse's mane and tail with streaks of color. One copy of Warm or Cool adds one color, two copies of Warm or Cool adds two different colors. Prism adds a rainbow effect. Only requires only copy to show but it is more vivid with two copies. Note: Paintbrush will only show if added to the primary DNA set on chimeric horses. It does not show on secondary DNA. This gene is closed.
