White Factor
-
Sorry I've updated this post a few times after searching through old discussions
I looked through ammits HPS5 update but I have a few questions - if it doesn't directly link to lethal white, but it can with some combinations of splash or KIT mutation - how do we now figure out if a combo will produce lethal white or not? If I take this stallion for example,

WF2/WF2 and then this mare
https://bluegrass.horsegeneticsgame.com/horse.php?horseid=21100052
WF2/WF3 KIT: W20/-
Would they be lethal? How or how wouldn't you know? Additionally is there an updated lethal white chart besides the one on wiki?
Thank you!Post edited by paintedlytening at 2026-04-27 12:38:04 -
Neither of those horses have any of the white genes that can be lethal. Be wary of high WF numbers when crossing horses with Frame, W1 and W2 and potentially some of the other Kit and splash genes. Horses with none of those, like the two you mentioned, will not have any problems with high white factor.Thanked by 1paintedlytening
