Question on gene licenses for GE

I want to send one of my foundation horses with a license, however it is my only one for this gene. What happens to all of the lined horses with this gene?
I currently own all licenses

Nothing will happen to them, but if they carry the gene that you are losing you won't be able to breed them.id 60847
