I can't seem to find any where what the rule is on the foals and horses aging up. How long does it take, I didn't know about the mares needing to be 4 so I have a lot of mares that are to young

All horses age 1 year at the start of a new game year, which takes 2 real life months. We just started a new game year on Jan 1, so your horses will all age again on March 1.
