  • Welcome to the fascinating world of Hunt and Jump.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about playing the game. It's a complex one, so we are always glad to give new players a helping hand.

I'd like to make a suggestion for posting your herd helpers. This isn't meant as a criticism, merely a help toward understanding what other players look for when they click on a herd helper post.

It's easiest if you copy and paste the rank and title instead of trying to remember or copy it by hand. For instance, the correct name of your herd helper is Rank 1: Homozygous Flaxen. This is important because there is no guarantee with this HH that the horses created will be chestnuts (red based). Some may be bays or even blacks. They might have cream or champagne or gray or dun. In addition to posting the link for the herd helper in the text box, it will help others if you copy and paste the description that is included just under the title. Granted, when someone clicks on the herd helper link, they will get the complete description in their own Create a Horse page, as long as there is still a share of the HH available. However, for new players who may not have seen a given herd helper before, it would be helpful to see what to expect before clicking on the link.

Once again, welcome to the game. We are a friendly community. We look forward to getting to know you and to helping you learn to play the game.
