Info on DDW Kit Gene?

I noticed the DDW kit gene in my create yesterday and I don't think I've ever seen it before. Does anyone have more information about it?
I looked it up in the search and there aren't a ton of horses with it, so I couldn't get a good idea. I'm thinking it might cause extreme white?
It's on her secondary set of DNA:

Its the Donkey "white" gene.. I think Ammit spoke about it in the post when she released the Mule BC in this post :

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
