I don't think that it's rank would be changed, but yes, since ExPerf horses have B/Red breeding ability and a 10.4 PT, it would make an excellent show horse.

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST
