Has anyone else ever had a liver red roan this dark?

2 copies of sooty and 2 copies of DP (dense pheomelanin), and no pangare will make this shade :) It is often referred to as black chestnut :xID 195859Thanked by 1Nightphoenix

@Ran1186 ; I actually breed for "Black" Livers; and while the Roan gene doesn't pop up often in my line of them; I do get some; here is one that actually "looks" Black but in fact is a Liver
