    I haven't been on in a while so idk if I missed a gene update or if this isn't supposed to happen (or is?) but one of the foals in my pasture is a warmblood with 1.50 bone, when both of his parents have 1.25 bone. Is this normal? rare? a bug?

    Horses have a range that they can produce, 1.25 is fairly close to 1.5 so this is why you can occasionally end up with a warmblood foal.

    To avoid this choose riding horses with far lower bone weight, like 0.9 or 1 if this is a problem for you - but know that a 1.5 warmblood will also be able to produce light boned foals if bred to another light boned horse.

    There's a certain amount of wiggle room that height and bone density can end up with, and 1.25 is kind of on the higher side of light bone density. Probably the dice just rolled the highest bone density it could, since both parents contributed a relatively higher number.
