How do you add a copy of a gene to someone else's horse?

At the very bottom of the gene purchase page, there's a link that says "shopping for someone else?". Then it has a space to put the horse's id number instead of selecting one of your own.

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST
