How to use a boost token? Nvm, I am unobservant lol
  • I’ve been playing for almost a year now, and I just bought my first boost token - I’ve suddenly realized I don’t even know how to use it! :)) Can someone help a pal out? :)

  • Go to the boost token page. Select the horse you want to put it on from the drop down menu and enter and that’s all!

  • I also have a question about boost tokens, I'd like to ask you more experienced folks before I waste my money. Do they make that much difference? Say if you have a horse that is out of a B/Red papered pair and doesn't pass basic breeding advice, can an unalter and a boost help the horse pass? How many boost tokens would that take? Or do they not work like that?

  • I am not experienced (I just used my first one lol), but I believe that would completely depend on where the foal’s breeding ability is starting at? If the foal’s breeding ability is just a little worse than the cutoff for BA, a boost may help it pass. But if it’s a lot worse, it probably wouldn’t. And there’s not really a way to know which situation you have. I think?

For example, I had a colt that passed strict breeding advice, but tested “about as good as” his sire in comparison testing. I boosted him 1%, and that was enough to make him to superior to sire. But in that case, I already knew that he was about as good as his dad and just needed a little boost.

    I feel like I’m rambling :))

  • No that makes perfect sense! Thank you, I think I did read a similar explanation on an older post, but I couldn't find it when I tried to look today.
