I have an intense need for Nacre, but since it’s so pricey, I want to make sure I put it on just the perfect horse! I can’t decide whether I want to add it to a horse that I already have, or start a new GMT project (giving myself a few months until the horse is breeding age, since I just started several new lines). I love nacre and onyx, but what are your favorite combos with nacre? :D

Nacre, Watercolor, Onyx is so fun! I will say I prefer Nacre on the lighter bases, reds or double dilutes. I like it with pearl too.

Ok so you guys have me thinking I either want to combine it with watercolor + onyx, or add it to a dark base. So, I have these two ladies who I can add it to (without having to start over on a new GMT project). Who do you think I should add it to?

Already has watercolor + onyx, but the nacre would be replacing one of the watercolor alleles I added (she’s Hom currently)

A dark buckskin I made just because she’s pretty (I mostly breed liver chestnuts and chocolate palominos). Still planning to add Sty+ to her as well.

Oof, I hope nacre comes up again soon, but after I get a paycheck! My spending money is gone (mostly on GMT tokens lol). Once I get the chance, I'm going to put nacre and watercolor both on this guy:
