Showing your horses. Horses that get in the top few places earn you money. Which is why geldings and spayed mares are as important to your barn as breeding stock. The geldings and spayed mares train up a bit faster and make better show horses than the same horse would if it was not gelded or spayed.

Not all horses win, and even good ones don't win all the time. A large part of the game is figuring out how and when to show your horses to maximize your profit.
