You can breed them to any color or pattern.
If one parent is heterozygous Nexus, there is a 50% chance that the offspring will carry Nexus and the same chance that it will not.
If one parent is homozygous Nexus, the foal will definitely be heterozygous Nexus.
If both parents are heterozygous Nexus, there is a 1 in 4chance the foal will be homozygous Nexus; a 1 in 4 chance the foal will not carry Nexus at all; and a 2 in 4 chance the foal will be heterozygous Nexus.
If one parent is homozygous Nexus and the other is heterozygous Nexus, there is a 50% chance of a homozygous Nexus foal and a 50% chance of a heterozygous Nexus foal.
These percentages rule every time you breed a horse, so it is possible to breed a heterozygous Nexus horse to a non-Nexus horse 10 times and get as many as 10 non-Nexus foals, if the luck swings that way. Or, you might get 10 Nexus foals, too. However the odds are that there will be some of each, but it won't necessarily be 5 Nexus and 5 non-Nexus.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2016-04-18 18:44:45
